Long time, no blog... I've been busy tending sick kiddos & I swear I'm like a walking petri dish myself this year, catching every germ that floats my way apparently. Viva la stomach flu - I lost 6 pounds in 2 days! (& gained it back 4 in 5 days). Things at work have been chaotic (boss-clashing), but better I guess. Still - I think perhaps I should look into other options, if for nothing other than mental stimulation. Either that or I was contemplating beauty school (LOL). Hey, there's nothing wrong with a side job - is there?

I just dyed my hair today using Clairol Natural Instincts in 'Nutmeg' (dark neutral brown) & holy crap it's dark! I look like a Twilight character (still trying to start it) or something. It's a semi-perm so hopefully it will fade to a nice chocolate brown for the fall/winter. I had to use different products on my brows too, which was super odd. My skin looks really pale now, so maybe I need to do a face self tanner? I guess I'll just wait a couple of weeks and see if it fades out first.

Anyhoo... I thought I'd post some pics of my new Caboodles makeup case full of my rediculous stash of cosmetics and my other Caboodles cases throught the ages (80's-present). Some are empty (for travel), some house my 'overflow ' stash, and my new black case has the makeup I grab for daily). I'm considering alternate storage solutions due to my expanding collection and to easily access all of my goodies!
