Thank goodness I'm on the downward slope of hump day, but then again this weekend will be more chaotic and stressful than work - full house! This week is going much better than last (so far), let's see what's new...
My baby girl turned 9 months old yesterday and cut her first tooth on monday (yay!). She is also really loving grown-up food like avocados, chicken, black beans, and rice - Viva la Mexico!
(Week 3) That Hemp Shake tastes so much better now that I'm not adding the extra hemp protein powder to it, what a HUGE difference. I'm not dreading the berry pomegranate flavor nearly as much now. (Sorry Kandee!) *Added Bonus = My pants with a button front, not elastic or draw-string waist, are fitting me alot less snugly than before - finally!
I finished 'My Sister's Keeper' over the weekend - depressing! - and started 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' because I need a shallow fun book after that string of downers I've been reading. I'm thinking 'Twilight' next (something shallow & dark :)
I dyed my hair darker again - couldn't deal with the highlights, what a waste of money for me! I used toasted almond by clairol natural instincts (semi-perm) & I'm really likng it. I feel like me again!
I found a great new night cream at the health food store when I went to pick up mum mums for my daughter. It's called alba botanica - deep sea renewal cream (compared to La Mer on amazon.com). It's full of totally organic/natural ingredients that are known to be great for the skin, it has a light scent, and it moisturizes really well without a greasy texture. It cost me $12, but Target sells it too for a few more bucks. It's a great product IMO.
I'm looking forward to the premiere of 'Eastwick' on ABC tonight at 10, but why do all my fave shows come on at 10? I usually watch 'Top Chef Vegas' on wednesday nights. Can't wait til 'Project Runway' tomorrow (I'll watch the rerun of 'Real Housewives' on monday before Rachel Zoe). I need to get a grip on my OWN reality - LOL!
Peace, Love, & hairgrease for now...
