Random Chatter & October Favorites

So, I guess this is more like an online diary than anything else for me, nobody seems to read my blog! I'm not sure how to connect to and network with other bloggers. Not even sure how to get to and read other blogs. I'll figure it out eventually. Moving on...

It's November 1st, my daughter was the cutest little ladybug for her first Halloween and my son was a scary grim reaper guy with red blinking eyes. It was his first year not being a Star Wars character in 5 years - his request. We just finished his book report and he has school photos tomorrow. Another school pic with a plaid shirt - year#7. Will he protest one of these years? Gasp! I really love my kiddos. Time is freakin flyin by - arg! - my daughter will be a year old next month!

My beauty arsenal has been growing slowly thanks to Makeup Alley, drugstore BOGO sales, and occasional trips to Ulta and Sephora. I'm apparently trying to fill some void with craploads of products that I could never possibly finish in this lifetime. I think my obsession feeds my creativity and hoarding tendencies as well. Sigh... It's the thrill of the chase I guess. As soon as I get what I think I NEED, I'm happy for a spell and then I actively seek out something else to need. WTF!

Enough psycho-emesis for now. My hair has finally faded to a nice deep brown with what looks like lighter reddish-brown highlights (leftovers from my blonde highlights). I'm using new skincare products and makeup due to he colder weather and new hair color. Here's a rundown of my October favorites (what I've been using every day or almost every day).
